1. Pre-operation Preparation: Park the Hitachi ZX270 excavator on flat and hard ground, suspend the faulty walking side track, fix the body stably, turn off the engine and fully release the residual pressure of the hydraulic system, drain the old hydraulic oil and gear oil of the travel motor.
2. Disassemble Auxiliary Parts: Remove the track shoe and driving sprocket in turn, mark the hydraulic oil pipeline interface to avoid wrong installation, then disconnect the oil pipe and fix it neatly to prevent oil leakage and dirt entry.
3. Take Out Travel Motor Assembly: Loosen the fixing bolts of the final drive motor, take out the whole motor assembly, place it on a clean operating platform, and clean the surface dust and sludge.
4. Remove Old Seals: Use professional non-scratch tools to gently take out all aging seals, O-rings and gaskets. It is forbidden to use sharp tools to scratch the motor seal groove, shaft surface and precision mating surface to avoid equipment damage.
5. Deep Cleaning & Inspection: Use professional cleaning agent and lint-free cloth to clean all motor parts, remove residual oil dirt and metal debris. Inspect the shaft, bearing and wear parts for excessive wear or scratch; replace damaged mechanical parts in advance.
6. Install New NBR Seals: Coat the new reinforced NBR seals and O-rings with clean hydraulic oil for lubrication. Install anti-extrusion gaskets first, then embed the main seals into the groove smoothly, ensure no distortion, torsion or gap, and check the sealing tightness.
7. Motor Reassembly: Reassemble the internal components of the travel motor in reverse order, lock the end cover bolts in cross and grading torque mode to ensure uniform stress and avoid oil leakage caused by uneven compression.
8. Reset & Oil Filling: Install the repaired motor back to the original position, reconnect the hydraulic pipeline according to the mark, and inject new qualified hydraulic oil and gear oil to the standard liquid level.
9. Air Bleeding & Test Run: Start the engine, idle the equipment, control the track to rotate forward and backward repeatedly to bleed the air in the hydraulic circuit. After no air bubbles appear, test the walking speed and climbing performance, check all sealing positions for no oil leakage, and complete the maintenance.
